• Put up notes for one of the panels (The other two to be up in the next day or two)


• Throw a Stargate Pizza Party for somewhere near 30 people(2).


• Acquired a neat-o purse dooflotchie (technical term).


• Meet a disturbing number of people who I knew at least vaguely via LJ, and an even greater number that I had never heard of until this weekend.


• Blow money at the dealer's tables on things like an SGA Pin, an Earth-ID pin, a magnet, a key-chain, and a McKay/Sheppard 'Zine (3).


• Acquire 3 sets of Mardi Gras beads from obsessed1 - Blue, Silver, and Gold.

1. The most impressive part of this being that none of them blew up (in a figurative sense). Probably thanks to my co-mods : artaxastra, cjandre, and elynross respectively.
2. I will note? 4 people responded to my LJ advert for the party. 2 of them couldn't come. Shrew was a dear and helped with handling things.

What: A 'Traditional' Friday evening meal of Pizza & Beer (Well, fanon tradition in the O'Neill house anyway), in associated with Con.Txt for Stargate Fans of all shapes and sizes.

When: Friday 1730-1930, June 16, 2006

Where: The Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Silver Spring, MD - Signs will be posted for exact location Friday Morning.

Why: Why not?

Stargate: SG-1 is coming up on its 10 year anniversary, and Stargate: Atlantis is one of the hottest fandoms going this year. Come and share your opinions on characters, plot twists, costumes, and (of course) fandom. Why do you like SG1/SGA? Find like-minded souls and commune or commiserate for a few hours.

It will be a flat rate per capita for Pizza, Salad, and Soda. Alcohol is BYO at the moment, although I'm willing to coordinate purchase if there's interest. Price to be determined once we have a better idea how many are attending. Please comment and let me know as soon as you have an idea if you can make it.
